Mid-April is also the last average frost for our zone as of now, we could still get a heavy frost or even a freeze.For roses that were pruned hard in February, you may still have to cut out a few dead branches after the spring flush. Hydrangeas fall into this category as well it’s still too soon to know how hard they have been hit.
